The most impressive structure I've seen since I arrived in Uganda. It's not a mile from my home, but Easter was the first time I saw it.
It was built under the direction of the Comboni Brothers, Catholic missionaries to this area around the turn of the century.
It was built from local bricks by the congregants. Every Sunday people would come to church with bricks baked by the river, until they had enough.
